Why can't my children answer my phone calls?
Just a text - that's all I ask....an "I'm too busy mom, I don't want to interrupt this meal, this conversation, this thought..." just a polite response.....rather than a non-response....so annoying....
and why...when it has just become a beautiful spring - almost time to open the pool and we have sat in the sun....why is it storming and tornado weather....??
and why....am I never finished cleaning the house???
with the best of intentions...I plan to exercise 30 minutes every eveing when I get home
...and am insidiously sucked into my sofa cushions..and the energy is leaked out of me....
Time is an interesting concept... each year I am determined to savor the day...the week - and hold on to each one - savoring and remembering the passing of time - treasuring memories - and I think I am - and then suddenly - time is rushing past me - again....with a few memories of clarity - but not all the ones I'd planned to savor.... maybe next month.
